If you’re traveling to Florida’s 30A area from out of state, you’re likely looking for the best way to travel. Skip a long car ride and opt for one of two airports conveniently within reach of our beautiful Emerald Coast shores. In this article, you will learn more about flying to Florida’s 30A area and which airport to fly to. You’ll get all the information you need to know for planning your 30A vacay and flight. Let’s go!

Before you purchase tickets and pack your bags, it’s time to dig into the airports near 30A. Let’s start with the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP). This is the closest and most convenient area to our 30A vacation homes and rental cottages. Settled right in Panama City, Florida, this airport is just a short drive from our turquoise waters and white sand beaches. All the major airlines use this airport including Southwest, Delta, United and American Airlines. The airport is relatively new, having opened in 2010, and has all the conveniences you’d expect at any other airport: coffee, food, gift shops and bars.

Next up is the Destin – Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS). While VPS is slightly further than Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), it’s still less than an hour away from 30A. If you can snag a cheaper ticket flying into this airport, it’s well worth the drive. After all, taking the trip by car from the airport to 30A is an experience unto itself. Soak up the sun as you pass palm trees and beaches. 30A is Florida’s scenic highway for a reason. Many visitors find great value flying into this airport on a variety of airlines including Delta, United, American Airlines and Allegiant. Plus, because it’s a smaller airport, you can usually avoid the crowds many other Florida airports experience (we’re looking at you Fort Lauderdale and Miami!) The small-town feel is one of the reasons 30A is such a popular Florida vacation destination.

Now that you’ve touched down in our beautiful slice of paradise, make your way to one of our gorgeous 30A luxury vacation rental homes or charming 30A cottages. We have a variety of rental homes to choose from for your 30A vacay. Whether you’re traveling with a large or small group, looking to stay in town or right on the beach, we’ve got something you’ll love. We even offer a variety of pet-friendly accommodations so your furry friends can come too! Love to Stay 30A is here to serve you every step of the way. Check out our website to learn more.
