Raw & Juicy

Raw & Juicy in Alys Beach offers a range of delicious vegan and vegetarian offerings like acai bowls, smoothies, juices and more. From 8-10am they offer a breakfast menu. Their full menu is available 10-3pm daily and creative bar drinks, tapas and music are Thursday-Saturday from 5-9pm. Try the Brussel Sprouts Flatbread with house-made vegan mozzarella, shitake mushroom “bacon,” red onion, cashew parmesan and garlic oil or the Lentil Beet Burger. If you enjoy a good curry, check out the Forbidden Thai Coconut Curry. Freshii is a Love to Stay favorite. They offer some of the best vegan food on 30A. Freshii is a fast, casual, healthy local restaurant in Inlet Beach with an extensive customizable menu to suit any diet, lifestyle or taste. Breakfast, soups, salads, wraps, bowls, burritos, juices and smoothies are all made fresh. If you have a sweet tooth, indulge in a healthy solution like a delicious Coconut Chia Pudding. Vegetarians will enjoy a variety of egg dishes too. Some vegan offerings are the Khao San Burrito with brown rice, spinach, almonds, edamame, mushrooms, cabbage, carrots and a spicy peanut and lemongrass sauce and the Umamii Wrap with kale, brown rice, edamame, avocado, cucumber, mushrooms, cabbage, carrots, hemp seeds and a miso ginger dressing. With locations in Sandestin, Santa Rosa Beach, Seacrest and Watercolor, Pizza By The Sea is a convenient local 30A pizza place with rave reviews. What we love about this place is the options for vegan mozzarella-style cheese, cauliflower pizza crust and loads of veggie toppings like artichoke hearts, banana peppers, mushrooms, pineapple, roma tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes and more. This health store in Santa Rosa Beach has a diverse stock of certified organic, natural, local, non-GMO foods and recycled and green products. They have foods for every kind of diet and healthy lifestyle. They have a comprehensive line of dairy-free, sugar-free, gluten-free, vegan and soy-free foods to pick from. It’s a great place to pick up all your favorite veg snack foods and ingredients for cooking during your 30A vacay. They also have a juice and smoothie bar with loads of healthy offerings such as their bestseller The Remedy with carrot, apple, beet, lemon, kale, ginger, spinach and cayenne. Plus everything is made with high-quality, organic ingredients.

Everkrisp

Another great clean eating option on Destin’s Miramar Beach is Everkrisp. They have fresh, organic soups, salads and grain bowls with lots of customizable options like a build your own Breakfast Box with tempeh. Grain bowls can be loaded up with healthy goodness like wild rice, tomatoes, spinach, corn, scallions, peppers, roasted broccoli and dressings. Everkrisp has other classics like avocado toast, kombucha and a Hummus Wrap with cucumber, mixed greens, onion and sherry shallot vinaigrette (omit the feta if you’re vegan.)

Hibiscus Café

This small café is attached to a quaint 13-roomed bed and breakfast. The menu is “mostly vegetarian” with a selection of items that are vegan or can be made vegan. Outdoor and pet-friendly seating is available if you’re vacationing on 30A with a pet. On Saturday nights, there’s live music. The menu includes items like Vegan Biscuits and Gravy, fresh granola with your choice of milk and their famous, best-selling Waffle Wonderful which is a toasted whole wheat waffle topped with chunky peanut butter, fresh fruit, nuts, loads of coconut and honey (can be omitted for vegans.)

Red Fish Taco

Red Fish Taco is a great stop if you love Mexican food. While they have meat options for your omnivorous friends, you can get a salad or tacos with yummy grilled avocado. Try their fresh fire roasted salsa and guacamole paired with a margarita. The menu also includes vegetarian black beans and Taco Salad with tortilla bowl, crisp greens, corn salsa, cucumber, tomato, avocado, cheese, fresh salsa, chile lime aioli and black eye pea vinaigrette. The Grilled Avocado Tacos come with two tacos, marinated cabbage, chile lime aoli and fresh salsa. If you’re vegan, be sure to let them know so you can omit any items necessary.

If you have omnivores in your 30A vacay group, Surfing Deer in Seagrove is a choice that will make everyone happy. Vegetarian and vegan items on the menu are clearly marked for convenience. Try the Crispy Vegan Wings (fried oyster mushrooms, chili-sorghum glaze, chipotle pistachios, pickled carrot and celery and vegan cilantro aoli,) Vegan Truffle Fries or the Garden of Vegan with scorched cauliflower, pistachio farro, roasted carrot puree, blistered peppers and grilled naan.

Blue Mountain Bakery

Blue Mountain Bakery is a local staple. Located in Santa Rosa Beach, this bakery has a glowing reputation and for good reason. Their food is great. They have many vegan options available. This cozy spot serves bread, cake, cookies, granola, scones, cinnamon rolls and more. They have a small menu that changes often with items like beans and rice, veggie rolls, veggie burritos and pizza. Ask what fresh bakery items are vegan friendly when you visit.
