Beach it Up

You can’t come to 30A without visiting our world famous beaches! You can expect a bustling, busy beach during Spring Break. Even the smaller towns like Seaside and Grayton Beach experience a huge influx of tourists over the holiday week. If you like good, happy, festive energy, you’ll love the playful vibes along the beach. Just don’t expect a quiet stroll along the shore. On the plus side, even though there’s a lot of people, 30A beaches are among the cleanest in the country. In fact, it’s the only destination in the country to have its entire coastline “Blue Wave” certified by the Clean Beaches Council for maintaining unspoiled shoreline and natural habitat. Check out the unique sand dunes! They are the only ones in the US.

Sandestin Wine Festival

Wine lovers, unite! This is the perfect event for you. Named the “Best Annual Event” by Destin Magazine, this is something you won’t want to miss. This year it takes place from April 16-19 and tickets are on sale now. The schedule is jam packed with wine tastings, celebrity chefs, tasting dinners, a Bubbly Brunch, Champagne and Seafood Voyage and more!

South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival

This event’s roster of chefs, distillers and celebrity winemakers is enough to get your heart racing. Bring your favorite foodie along for a delicious experience at South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival. From April 23-26, this spring event offers plenty to do, see and eat.

30A Live Music

What’s Spring Break in Florida without great live music? Luckily there are plenty of places on 30A for live music. The Hub in Watersound is the ultimate place for a fun night on 30A. Sometimes called the “Greatest Backyard Party of All Time,” The Hub totally lives up to its name. It’s essentially a big green area surrounded by restaurants. There’s a stage and plenty of seating. Live music is almost always playing but the weekends are ideal for the best tunes and dancing. Wednesday nights are family movie nights so bring a blanket and enjoy a flick on the big screen outdoors. You’ll also find live music at many of the restaurants along 30A like Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar and Old Florida Fish House.

Go Exploring

Spring Break is the perfect time to hop from town to town along 30A. With 11 different beach communities, there’s something unique to experience in each. Ride your bike down Rosemary Beach’s main street or go kayaking off the shore in Blue Mountain Beach. There are lovely trails to explore, sand dunes to see and even some great 30A golf courses to play.

30A Spring Break with Family

Sure, young college kids are usually the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words “Spring Break.” But Spring Break on 30A is actually the perfect time to bring along family and friends for a fun vacation getaway. The 30A vibe is very different than South Beach, after all. It’s a family-friendly place to be, with plenty of fun outdoor activities the kids will enjoy like shell collecting, sand castle building, wakeboarding, kayaking and more! Ride your bikes to the local ice cream shop or climb and slide through all the local playgrounds during your visit.
