There are many beautiful and unique places to get married on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Picking the perfect venue for your big day can be fun and exciting. But it can also be intimidating. From the white sand beaches to a classic white wedding chapel, we explore some of our favorite royal destinations for weddings along Florida’s Highway 30A. Our list covers everything from unexpected locations to trendy, popular spots to help you jump start your wedding planning.

Exclusive 30A Beach Wedding

There’s a reason tourists flock to the beaches along 30A. They are breathtakingly beautiful. Is there a better backdrop for a stunning beach wedding? But planning a wedding on the beach can be tricky. While Florida’s Gulf Coast is home to a large majority of sunny days, weather is unpredictable. Have a backup plan or secondary location just in case. If you’re aiming to have your ceremony by the water and an indoor reception at another location, you may be able to arrange a backup ceremony there should any foul weather threaten your big day.

30A Hotels, Inns and Celebration Hall

WaterColor Inn & Resort offers a variety of wedding options like a beachside ceremony followed by a reception at Inn Green. If you’re looking for a departure from the beach, they also offer a park setting for ceremonies so you can still enjoy the great outdoors without the sand and wind. There are multiple locations available for receptions like The LakeHouse, a large venue surrounded by wood, exposed wooden beams and gorgeous lighting or the small private dining room at Fish Out of Water which is ideal for an intimate affair.

The Pearl Hotel is an intimate, 55-room boutique hotel. Besides being a lovely place to stay the night, there are quite a few options for weddings. Ceremonies take place in the Hemingway Room, the Pearl Ballroom or on the Cabana Rooftop Deck, depending on your desired setting and amount of guests.

If you’re looking for a bigger space, Celebration Hall in Santa Rosa Beach is a popular choice. Just minutes from the beach, it’s in a great location. With lots of indoor space (3,700 square feet) and high vaulted, beamed ceilings with massive iron chandeliers, Celebration Hall is a beautiful space for a wedding. The European décor and inspiration lend itself easily to many different wedding styles and looks. With lighted lawns, it’s also a lovely place for a romantic outdoor ceremony should the weather permit. The outdoor space is also large enough to allow for event tents.

Going to the Chapel

The Seaside Chapel is a local landmark and a popular place to tie the knot. This exclusive 30A spot was designed by architect Scot Merrill and is the perfect mix of old and new. Its 68-foot bell tower is the highest point in Seaside. Its stark white color, iconic shape and church bells make it memorable from the outside but inside you’ll love the super high ceilings, natural lighting and clean canvas design that makes it the ideal starting point for decorations. Fresh flowers are all it takes to make it picture perfect.

Seaside Chapel has won awards such as one of the South’s Most Beautiful Chapels by Southern Living Magazine and Diamond Level for South Walton’s Best Wedding Venue for two years straight. As one of the only options for a traditional church ceremony, it’s a popular place for religious and spiritual couples. The venue is highly sought after and books quickly so plan far in advance.

A Romantic Garden Wedding

Eden Gardens State Park is a favorite outdoor wedding location on 30A. With massive trees and outstretched branches, wedding photos taken here are enough to motivate your daydreams. With 115 acres of land and an immaculate historic mansion, the lush green forest and quaint plantation-style house give you plenty of room to play. Live oaks draped in moss, longleaf pines, cypress, gardens and lawns envelop you in nature and wonder while the antique-filled mansion invite you to take a stroll back through time.

30A Cottages

Getting married in one of our beautiful 30A cottages is a great way to share your special day with an intimate group of family and friends. Book YOLO or Hotel California for a week and you’ll have plenty of time to set up, enjoy the special occasion and have a built in honeymoon house afterwards.
