Who doesn’t love a great movie night? It’s the perfect time to cuddle up, get comfy on the couch and watch something new (or old) together. It’s not a movie night without the right snack so be sure to grab your favorites: popcorn, soda, candy, nachos, hot dogs or whatever your heart desires. Everyone knows on vacation the calories don’t count ;)
If you’re not sure what to watch, check out what’s currently playing on cable or stream from one of your favorite streaming services. A quick Google search can give you great ideas on what to watch in any genre: romance, comedy, family-friendly and more. It might be the perfect time to introduce the kids to an old, nostalgic favorite of yours or enjoy a late night tear-jerker with the girls the night before the bachelorette party. Whatever the occasion may be, a movie night is always fun!

Bringing along a book to the beach is always a great option but, on rainy days, it’s a great opportunity to stay “home” in bed and get some pages in. If your traveling with kids, it’s a good time to put a dent in their summer reading list or do some classic book family read aloud time.
With grocery delivery options along 30A, it’s easy to get fresh ingredients without wasting time shopping in the store. We love cooking new meals and family favorites during vacation. From “face the cookie,” a game where you use your face muscles to get a cookie from your forehead into your mouth (no hands allowed) and “stack attack,” a game where you stacking 36 cups in a pyramid and then back down into a single stack, there are tons of fun options.
