Sink your toes in crystal-fine sand, and glistening turquoise waters, or go on a family shell walk where you’re bound to find some of the best-preserved shells both big and small. Learn How to Paddleboard ​

From the longest 57-mile trail, the Choctawachee River Paddle Trail that runs from Morrison Springs to the opening of Black Creek near the Choctawhatchee Bay, to the shortest .75 trail, the Turpentine Trail in Santa Rosa Beach, there’s a skill and comfort level for every family member.

Learn more about the natural beauty and biodiversity of the Florida Panhandle by visiting the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, one of a handful of environmental facilities that aim to educate visitors to the importance of conservation and restoration of the region’s unique ecosystem.
