When you’re planning a 30A vacation, one of the first items on your list is finding a place to stay. With boutique hotels, cozy seaside cottages and numerous charming beachside communities, there are so many options and ways to stay on 30A. But with some homes booking over a year in advance, summer rentals are a hot commodity. There’s a reason 30A cottages and luxury homes are such popular pick. In fact, there are a lot of reasons. Let’s explore what makes renting along 30A the best vacation option around:

1.       Home away from home.

There’s nothing like the comfort of home… except the comfort of home while on an amazing beach vacation! When you rent a home on 30A, you enjoy all the benefits and conveniences of home without the need to clean up when your time is over. With comfy beds, separate sleeping spaces and a shared kitchen and living areas, renting a vacation home is perfect for company and groups, whether large or small. Unlike a hotel room, you don’t have to worry about the people upstairs keeping you up all night.

You can also cook “at home” and save money on vacation. Make your own coffee in the morning or do a few dinners at home. Many of our stunning 30A cottages also come with a grill and outdoor seating for dining al fresco. If you pick a property with an ocean view, you’ll likely have a better vista than the diners at fancy restaurants in town. If you or one of your guests has special dietary restrictions and needs, having access to a kitchen is an absolute must. Even if you don’t plan on cooking during your vacation, having a place to store cool drinks and snacks – and a way to reheat leftovers – is always a good thing.

One of the other benefits of your home away from home is access to free laundry facilities so you can pack light. Beach vacations can get messy, especially with kids. Being able to throw in a load of laundry mid-vacation helps keep your packed luggage to a minimum and get you back into a pair of clean, non-sandy bathing suits in no time.

2.       Space.

Hotels can be great from time to time but nothing beats the space of a vacation rental home. With different spaces, it’s easier to find a comfortable sleeping arrangement. No snoring keeping everyone in the room awake. No fighting over what to watch on the only TV in the room. No early bedtime because everyone has to sleep at the same time. The grownups can enjoy privacy while the kids have their own space for fun and play.

3.       Location.

While most hotels are located in busy, populated, touristy areas, vacation homes are in quieter residential communities. Our 30A vacation rental properties are located in many different 30A areas and towns like Seaside, Grayton Beach, Rosemary Beach and Watercolor, each with their own unique offerings. We have homes right on the beach, others a short walk away and some in private communities with massive community pools to enjoy so there’s a variety of options to choose from as far as locations and amenities.

4.       Live like a local.

Waking up in a home sets a relaxing, slow-paced tone for your vacation. That’s just the kind of laid-back mood 30A locals enjoy (and the best mood to be in for a beach vacation.) At Love to Stay 30A we know all about local life and are happy to be your personal concierge to the area, providing recommendations for everything from bike rentals and things to do to the best restaurants and shops to visit. You’ll also find lots of free blog articles here on our website for inspiration, ideas and itineraries.

5.       Stay together.

We love enjoying vacation with our loved ones. Sharing experiences and creating beautiful memories is often the part we most look forward to when we travel. If your motto is “the more the merrier,” you just might love group traveling as much as we do. That’s why we’re proud to offer stunning 30A vacation rental properties able to host large groups. Whether you’re traveling with five or fifteen, we love helping you plan the ideal group 30A vacay. In a hotel, your group is spread out in different rooms and floors but, when you stay in a home, you can spend more time together while still being able to have privacy when you want it.

Maybe the friends you plan to bring are less of the two-legged kind and more of the four-legged variety. We are proud to offer a selection of PET-FRIENDLY 30A vacation rental homes to make your dream vacation a reality. Your furry friend is part of the family too!
