There’s no news on whether the annual South Walton 4th of July parade is happening this year. This annual tradition starts around 8:30am and includes plenty of candy-throwing and children waving from the side of the road. You can decorate your bikes, golf carts, scooters, cars, etc. and take part in the parade. This small town event is one of the most charming events of the year so we hope it will be happening again. Keep your eye on the South Walton event calendar to see if it’s confirmed.

When nighttime falls around 8:30pm, we recommend grabbing a spot at the beach to watch the fireworks all over 30A, along the coast, over the town and over the water. Fireworks at the beach is the perfect way to end the night and celebrate freedom and our country.
