At Love to Stay 30A, we love serving our guests and answering their various questions about 30A, our rental vacation homes, things to do along 30A and more. As local experts and concierge, we love giving tips and recommendations for our guests to enjoy. This month, we’re tackling some of the most common and frequently asked questions about 30A and 30A vacations.

What is 30A?

If you’ve never heard of or been to the 30A area, this is likely your #1 question. What is 30A anyway? Or more like where is 30A? Florida’s scenic Highway 30A covers a stretch of the west coast of Florida from Santa Rose Beach to Panama City Beach. Along 30A you’ll find many beautiful beach communities like Destin, Miramar Beach, Rosemary Beach, Grayton Beach and Watercolor. This gorgeous coastline is the home to delicious seafood restaurants, charming walking and bike-friendly main streets, stunning 30A cottages, boutique beach chic stores and more.

What are 30A beaches like?

We might be biased but we really believe 30A beaches are the best beaches in Florida. If you don’t believe us, you may be surprised to learn the beaches along 30A routinely rate as the best in the state. Destin often claims the #1 spot but often some of the smaller beaches like Rosemary Beach and Grayton Beach are lesser-known but equally stunning competitors. 30A beaches have soft white sand with unique beach sand dunes that can only be found here in the United States. The beaches are less developed than other popular spots. Forget the towering high-rises of Fort Lauderdale, 30A beaches look untouched, majestic and glorious in all their raw, natural beauty. The beaches are big and often less busy than other Florida beaches like Miami Beach, Daytona Beach and Sarasota.
