1. Beer
30A is home to some excellent beer. Stop by the Grayton Beer Company to try some of our local 30A brews. This is more than just a brewery – they have a cool atmosphere and delicious food as well. With glowing reviews, it’s sure to be a visit worth making. Or check out Beach and Brew on 30A in Rosemary Beach, FL. They have an excellent craft beer selection and a great location. 2. Bike
Biking is a popular and fun mode of transportation on 30A. Many of our Love to Stay 30A vacation rental homes come with two adult bikes each. But, if you’re in need of a bike, there are plenty of bike rental companies in the area. Check out 30A Bike Rentals in Santa Rosa Beach or Pedego Electric Bikes 30A in Seagrove Beach. They have all kinds of sizes and options to suit your whole family.
3. Beach
What’s a 30A vacation without a beach trip? NOTHING. You’d be doing yourself a major disservice if you missed out on the white sand, emerald water beaches during your visit. We have many different beach areas and they’re all worth checking out. If you’re looking for something a bit more secluded, try Camp Helen State Park’s beach. It’s a little walk to the sand but well worth it for some space and quiet.
4. Casual Fine Dining to Celebrate
The laid back vibes on 30A create the perfect atmosphere for some of the absolute best casual fine dining restaurants. Check out our latest article on Fine Dining on 30A for a list of some of our favorite places to eat. 6. Dinner Al Fresco at “Home”
If you scan our list of gorgeous 30A luxury vacation rental homes, you’ll see the majority of the homes offer wonderful al fresco dining for you to enjoy during your stay. Couple that with spacious kitchens, stocked with everything you need for a home away from home, you have the recipe for a delicious date night “at home.” Cooking meals at home during vacation is a great way to save money – and the recipes don’t have to be complicated! Sometimes the simplest meals are the best. Throw something on the grill and pour a nice glass of wine. Enjoying your dinner on the patio or deck, in the fresh salty air, watching the sun dip below the clouds is one of the best ways to wrap up an evening.
7. Dolphin Sightseeing
You might be able to spot some dolphin friends while you stroll along the shore or relax on the beach but, if you want to raise the chances of an encounter, try one of our local 30A dolphin sightseeing tours.
8. Moonlit Stroll
We may be a little biased but we love a nice moonlit stroll on the beach. Catch the sunset and watch the beach transform into moody darkness, the sand shining silver in the moonlight. Listen as the waves lap at the shore and sink your toes deep into the cool sand. Bring a blanket and toast the night. There’s something magical and expansive about the beach at night that just can’t be missed.
9. Cocktails and Raw Bar
Whether you choose to go to Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar, Hurricane Oyster Bar & Grill or one of the other raw bar options nearby, you’ve got to try our fresh oysters or seafood. Enjoy a cocktail, local craft brew or nice glass of wine with your oysters for a fun night out.
10. Get Active
Paddleboarding. Fishing. Biking. Parasailing. Kayaking. Hiking. Enjoy the great outdoors, soak up the Florida sunshine and make the most of your vacation with some active time to balance out the relaxation.
